Read two books recently :)

I find the first paragraph very insightful. after that, I'm hooked.

This is a story about a man named Eddie and it begins at the end, with Eddie dying in the sun.
It might seem strange to start a story with an ending.
But all endings are also beginnings.
We just don't know it all the time.

felt the butterfly effect vibe while reading that book. and I liked the concept of his story telling. it held my attention, made me want to know everything all at the same time but is only telling me bits by bits. surely tested my patience!

no, I did not skip towards the end even though I wanted to :P

The second book I read this week ; Tuesdays With Morrie

love each other or perish

I loved it. It made me cry :(

didn't really liked how the first half of the book made me feel though! made me feel like a useless idiot, wasted 19 years of my life, going through meaningless routines and doing unimportant stuffs.

That's really how you'll feel when you compare your life to Morrie's and really absorb everything the book is saying.

the other half is about Morrie's great advice and life experience. I liked that the most! I wish I had someone like him in my life.

honestly, 200 pages isn't enough!

anyhoo. Went Mercato a few days ago. wanting to replenish everything because there's absolutely nothing left in this house! Went in and everything was different. Well, the same but different. I don't know how to explain!

almost everything that I used to buy or wanted to buy isn't there anymore.

They changed management! and probably suppliers too. it sucks. hello, loyal brand costumer here! in the end, we went home as an unsatisfied costumer :( next day, mums went to Tesco to get everything else.

she didn't get stuff that I wanted though! blah.

Saw this while I was there! so tempted to get it and try. Jamie Oliver is putting heaps of cooking ideas in me but I'm not a really great cook or a baker. I'm not even a noob or rookie baker. but I was tempted to try everything that he cooked.

& definitely wanted to try this out. but but it's freaking RM 16.90! for two nobs of cheese.

finally watched it after a long anticipation :)

It wasn't as good as I excepted a Nicholas Sparks movie to be but I'm sure the book will be better! I've gots to get my hand on that book! I don't want the movie poster book, I want the original book, which is so hard to find!

I thought Miley Cyrus' acting sucked in this movie! but Bobby Coleman was awesome! he's all grown up now. the last movie I saw him in was Post Grad. Greg Kinnear was awesome too.

Liam Hemsworth american accent failed man. can still hear his thick australian accent all the time!

anyways, typical Nick Sparks movie, touches your heart, makes you cry and all that. & also an unexpected twist of an ending.

I'm not going to spoil anything but in all Nick Sparks movie, someone always dies!

My last day of joy with sissy and brother before they leave me lonely and bored again :(

to be honest, they shouldn't have come home! :( you'll be all excited when they're on the way home but sad when they're gone!

Keenan came over Friday night. woke me up from my lovely much needed sleep!

Went out the whole day on Saturday, the day sissy and bro leaves. Went for breakfast and saw Mr. Yew there. after that we went all the way to Kepong to get my sissy's stuff but the shop wasn't open -.-

whatever. got home before 5.

had to leave in just 2 hours, then only they packed their luggages -.-! I wish I could, but I can't not pack weeks before I fly off somewhere! I'll be all excited and stuff, I'll probably pack right after I get my air ticket!

I don't know why but after reading like your 50th book or something, you'll want to branch out to read classical books. The only classic book I read was Wuthering Heights. but now I'll read more since my brother left all his books home for me :))!

While sissy and brother are busy packing away, Keenan was making me laugh like a crazy person! he is naturally a funny person! I don't think he's trying to be funny but everything he does makes others laugh.

part deux of my rundown of last week :)

didn't want to bore you with all my crap in one blog post. does that mean I want to bore you in two posts? heh :P

Us siblings had lunch with Uncle Gordon on Wednesday at Fridays :) I don't really like Fridays! more of a Chilis girl.

had a very filling meal for lunch. gaa. dropped bro back home cause he had to work then Uncle Gordon near Eastin Hotel. after dropping them off, sissy and I decided to hit Tropicana City Mall :) she hasn't been there since it opened.

there's nothing much in there anyways. I'll go there for movies and for sushi only :)

walked walked walked. walked for 3 days straight! my leg also pain already!

Had HoHo Steamboat for dinner :DD! yay. now I feel like having it for dinner tonight :P yums

my brother kept teasing me, knowing that I have work the next day, he asked me to go for a late night movie and stuff. He was like "I pay people RM 70 to write one article for me, you go stand all day for RM70" tsk.

then came Thursday! my first day at work with Angeline for the Malaysia International Food & Beverage trade fair at PWTC :)

we had to fold the flyers, insert it onto a plastic bag and give it to people that walks pass! It's actually quite fun the packing process! you've got to do it fast to have fun :D the not so fun part was standing all day waiting for someone to walk pass!

idk why but the booth is located at the far end and not much people passes by because there's obviously more attractive booth. and when I say attractive, theres either nice smelling food booth or girls in short skirts and high heels manning the booth.

Towards the end of the day, we still have heaps of flyers left so me & Angeline went around giving it out. That was the fun-est part of the job!

Everyone seems to want one! they probably want to know what's in it! HAHA nothing much buddy :) first day, I loved seeing every single person there holding one of our plastic bags! heh. EVERYONE was holding it! job well done :D

still, we made our rounds, walked around to hand out more bags! still fun. I loved it because it felt like we were the candy provider and the ones who took our bags were kids that wants those candies! everyone just comes towards you and smiles at you, asking for one!

there's also people that chased after me for a bag! haha. despite having a sore feet at the end of the day, I had a pretty good time!

Was light headed when I came home from work. had to stand all day and stuff without having lunch :( they had MickeyDees for lunch so I didn't eat cause I don't want MickeyDees.

I got all of Jamie's series from my brother :) I'm smartt! heh. now I'm watching it again! it really makes me super hungry watching it, especially during the night time!

Oh gosh, it's been almost a week since my last blog post, or longer :S the days last week seemed to whooped by pretty quickly, I couldn't/didn't find the time to blog. always had something better to do :P

anyways, now that things had dialed down - in other words, since my sissy and brother isn't here anymore, things feels a little different. boring and quiet :( it's so not fun being the little sister cause I'll be the last to move out, or in my case, won't have the money to even move out :P

A quick run throughout my last week :) if I can still remember!

totally forgotten what I did in the morning of Monday but we went to the night market at ss2 :) I haven't been to a pasar malam in ages!

Jessie of course was the biggest spender! got all of her 'rubbishES'

we bought so freaking many fake crocs! idk why too! mums started getting it first then as we walked some more, a millisecond later, all of us had one in our hand, or in Jessie's case, SEVEN!

I bought one too many slippers last week so I'm wearing mine in the house :P I admit I'm having too many flip flops already. & I'm one that wears the same flip flops all the time! it's much more comfortable when it's almost worn out.

Came home all stinky and sweaty!

showered then I started cleaning out my brother's drawers! it's mine now :) Since he's back, I finally get to get rid of his stuffs! so, when I'M clearing it out, he's laying on the bed telling me which one to throw out.

& he literary threw everything! I show, he'll say "throw"! He even ask me to throw money -.- YES! but I didn't of course! it was dollars okay!

The next day, woke up, went outside to where I left the whole big bag of stuff I threw out and noticed that there's more than a few things outside the bag that I clearly threw! HAHA. mums went through it and 'saved' what my brother asked me to throw out.

ie Swiss knife, army knife, molded dollar coins, sweater, etc.

"throw. throw. throw. throw" was what my brother kept saying. never once say "keep"

Tuesday morning, had lunch with the family. We went to eat 'yu tau my fun' - direct translation "fish head noodle" :P but I didn't like the milky soup so I ate claypot loh shu fun :) much better!

Dropped me brother off at The Gardens for more of his shopping spree while me and sissy went to The Curve, on a mission to find a pair of comfortable sandal for me to wear to work :) Angeline clearly gave me an excuse to get a new pair of slippers! if it wasn't for work, I don't think I'll go out to get one.

Walked around the whole entire day! came home with heaps of bags :P I was in the car, scared to death, wondering if my mums will have a heart attack when she sees how much stuff I bought in a day! I told my sister that I'll leave a pair of sandals in the car, hiding it from my mum and stuff.

Ooh ooh. I went out wanting to only get one pair of sandal but came back with four! heh. oops. had a momentarily shopaholic bug.

I have a perfectly working computer and a spare laptop to use, why would I need more! Plus, he is already giving me his iPhone, that's like a portable mini Apple all by itself with internet excess.

I'm a happy girl already :)

Had a long day yesterday, or what seemed to be a long day.

Went to bed at 4AM but woke up at around 9AM. I was a very sleepy cow! I don't think my brother even went to bed. superman! didn't sleep in 3 days, at least.

he spent one whole day up in the air! I didn't know Russia was that far.

anyways, we they had heaps to do that day. I was just along for the ride. Jack & mums went to the bank without us so that gave my sissy more time to sleep and for me to do my usual morning stuff I usually do :)

Out the door by 11. again, went to 3two Square for breakfast before dropping mums off to her office.

Siblings day out at One Utama. my brother was on a mission. he sees, he pays, he owns!

it seems like a lot when I said I spent almost RM 100 a day but that guy spent almost RM 800 in 4 hours!! haha! he didn't have enough so he had to use my sister's too!

It was on his list, and without hesitation, he got everything he wants. first was a Levi's jeans, then a Magic Mouse from Apple then a pair of new shoes!

After our his shopping spree, we went to pick mums up then went to Damansara Utama to get his hair cut. I wanted to cut me hair too but I didn't want to cut there because the last time I got my hair cut from him, I didn't like it.

my bro hesitated after hearing my review but he had no choice cause he couldn't wait and he didn't want to go all the way to Sunway. I would and I will wait!

My sissy got nothing to do, decided to cut her hair too! & now both of them don't like their new hair! haha.
