it's that time of the year where all of us good friends pick out a night to hang out for a very special occasion.

this dinner (and every other years on this very month) is two-fulled. first, it's to celebrate my best friend Vivian's birthday! second, having a good excuse to hang out, all of us :)

only during Vivian's birthday do all of us hang out together! see Vivian, you should feel very special for these dinners!

it felt short. 5 hours is just not long enough for dinner. we should have breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next birthday. ALL-DAY MEAL! see now that's an idea.

anyways, dinner was at Plan B, Bangsar. the menu looks great but the food isn't that tasty. in fact, it lacked taste and umphh! don't theyy add salt and pepper? my wild mushroom spaghetti wasn't any good at all! all I could taste was the extra virgin olive oil!

but my drink was great! naise, very naise! I had the lemon lyhcee! it had blended mint in it, so that's what tasted great :p

plus, it's so cheap. it was only Rm1.90! the previous packet I bought was expensive. impulse purchase :p

I want to find those gel ones so that it would not leave any marks or stains when I want to take it out. this sticky things leaves a mark that can't be removed. I didn't know that at first. there's nothing I can do about it now. I stuck so many already :p

I don't know why but if I hadn't shower before going out, I wouldn't have the mood to shop. you just don't feel fresh or something. I don't know. I have a sort of mood if I'm out without showering.

I was just too hungry la this morning, so I couldn't think of anything else but to eat :p

ooh. I went and drank the 4 flower tea or something. I don't know what's it called. those herbal teas and yuuuuckss! it's sweet but bitter at the same time! I don't like it. every time I burp, got the taste. blucks.

but when I was forcing it down, kids there are like drinking it like it's magical sugar water or something! they loved it! I was shocked. maybe because I don't drink it since young. my cousin does, so he likes it. but also, he's weird! hahaa.

I've been obsessed with this one type of braid lately after watching The Nine Lives Of Chloe King. I tried to do it on myself but I just couldn't. damn.

You girls should check out TBD! that website gives me so much inspiration on what to do with my hair.

anyhoo. I've been obsessed with streaks and now I have added a new item to this obsession train! feathers hair extensions! they look amazing! and cool and funky! I want em too :D

the only place I could get em is from eBay :) or any online shops, if I can find it. I found one company that has those amazing feathers and it looks incredible! Check out Fine Featherhead if you're interested.

cmon! who don't LOOOVEE the Spice Girls when they were younger? I was obsessed :)! hey, I'm not ashamed to admit that I used to be a Spice Girls groupie. and a N'sync (I totally had a crush on Lance Bass first, then it was Justin and JC) and Britney Spears groupie.

I saw it online that other day and I had to have it. so I got it. I had it on CD but it couldn't play no more because I played it until it's now spoiled. hmm, good job. hahaa.

I am so bored these days! this week especially since my mums out of town.

man. I can't wait until my next long semester starts on 6th of September. I know I'm gonna curse myself for saying this but I want my schedule to be hectic, I want to rush for assignments, I want to learn!

this movie is just absolutely mind blowing! like totally mind blowing! it's ridiculous! but a good kind. I so want to be Hit Girl :D

all I can say about this movie is mind blowing. BAM! & I liked it.

so as at 29th July 2011, I no longer have virgin hair. though I don't know what's considered virgin hair.

all I know is that if it's dyed or permed or straighten or anything permanent for awhile, it's no longer virgin hair. but my question is, what if new hair grows and you chop off the dyed or permed or straighten or anything hair, does it mean you have a new head full of virgin hair?

hmm. I'm curious.

well anyways, I followed mums to get her hair cut and Ah Kit, our hair dresser decided to just do a few streaks of red for me. I was so nervous because I really didn't want red and it didn't sit right with me.

but he still took my hair and did it anyways. worst part was when I was making so much noise, he turned the chair away from the mirror so I didn't know what or how much hair he's using!

waited for 45 minutes until I washed it off. nothing. no streak, no colour, no thing!
but after a few wash, the colour started to show, though it looks more brownish than red.

so then, I no longer have virgin hair. tsk. & it's so not worth it for those streaks that can't even be seen :( damn bummed.

think I'll but extensions and dye em then clip it onto my hair all the time :p well, that's an idea :) or I could get a streak that's already teal. that's another idea! eBay, here I come! or maybe Sungai Wang, I'll be coming :)

so anyways, a little blogging history for this special 1000th post. remember I started to blog when I was 12 or 13 years old. and my high school friend Sharon helped me with the HTML code because I was totally clueless.

stayed up until 2am to customize my blog and change the layout and themes and all sorts of stuff that was unknown to me at that time.

I used to blog daily! there would be more blog post in a month than the actual days of the month! I was obsessed. I would come home from school and blog about what happened at school or the night before :p

it's nice to remember the days back when.. now. brings back good ol' memories. and bad grammar and spelling, for me :p

yeah so, I've been blogging ever since. didn't stop then, never gonna stop now :) I like sharing my shyte with the world, or with whoever reads this rusty old blog :)!

Elyza and I cried our eyeballs out so hard for this damn movie! tsk. it's just too good, and too touching!

we did not just sob a little, we wept, we cried, tissues were all over, eyes red and blotchy.

it's one hell of a movie based on a true story. it's a much watch! it's about a dog that waits for his master to come home - he'll walk to the train station, and wait for him at the train station to walk home together.

so. one day out of nowhere, I had an urge to get a streak in my hair. I don't know how that idea came to me, but I then had a strong desire to get it.

I knew it'll be crazy to tell my mum about my sudden urge because she has never let me dye or do anything permanent to my hair, ever.

mums doesn't really say no to anything thing else so when she do say no, I won't fight that or question that. a no is a no - end of discussion. plus, she rarely says no.

but, having stuff done to my hair is really an issue to her. she just won't let it.

anyways, the next morning, she asked if I wanted to get a hair cut or something as she's gonna call to make reservations, and that's when I told her about my crazy streaking idea.

& unbelievable she said sure, if that's what I really want! whaaaat. so that approval got me all hyped up and excited :D

went online, google image, checked out a bunch of sites. had an idea of how I wanted it to be.

*HAHA, sorry guys, this is going to be a long story. I'm blogging it because I would want to remember this moment :)!

it was going to be either teal, light blue or bright purple :D I'm all excited. Then mums had a crazy idea of doing it for me!

that really threw me off and got me all nervous! like seriously?! HAHAA. mums, dying my hair? NONO!

but who cares, I wanted a streak! so we went out looking for colours! no hair shop sells bright colours! I was bummed as we checked out 3 other hair shops before going to Monsoon ID at Tropicana Mall.

The lady stylist there told me that by getting a brightly coloured streak that she's gonna have to bleach my hair at least 3 times before having the colour on. Plus, the colour would not last more than 5 wash!

whaaaat. like that do for what :(

she said it wasn't possible and it definitely would not be long lasting. That threw me off track. my desire to get a streak - crushed. gone. kaput.

she did say that a bright red or beige would work. but I really don't want red. I have to think it over.

oh and another bummer, mums came home and was all "I don't think you should do it. You would not like red. Don't do it if they don't have the colours you want. Why you want to dye your virgin hair. I don't think it's a good idea anymore. Think real hard." everything negative came out.

I'm super bummed. and disappointed, not getting what I want. Black hair is no fun! Blonde hair would be awesome, all colours sticks! ;p

mums then bought me a can of colour hair spray to shut me up :p

I want it even more now :(

oh. while in Tropicana Mall, mums went a little crazy at The Face Shop.

can't believe that there will be no more Harry Potter. but anyways, a great series of movies. Thank you J.K.Rowling :))! it tickled my movie taste buds.

I cannot believe that Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) is so hot in the last movie! whaaat. I've been watching the first few movies, and when I went to watch this part with my sissy & Sam, I was shocked. I thought it was a different guy playing Neville!

seeing how hot is became is my number 1 reason I recommend that you guys should go watch the movie :p heh.

so, sissy & Sam are now back in Perth, where they belong. and I'm here alone :( literally alone because the mumster ain't here either.

sad. I'm in the detox phase. I've gots to cleanse myself of Jess and Sam. ohman. I miss em already!

Before sissy left, she had such bad luck with the car. oh my poor car! it got scratched pretty badly at One Utama. they suspect that a trolley did it. one long thick scratch from the front to the back passenger door.

to add salt into the wound, she got banged my some drunken dude :( my whole car needs a serious paint job.

the up side was that mommy wasn't mad or anything like that. not that I thought she would start screaming or shouting at us. she's not that type. instead, she did what I expected and laughed and said it was alright, it needed a face lift afterall.

me mommy will not scold us for any damage to the car or whatever unimportant. that's what I love about her.

I've been playing with my GF2 and I'm seriously not loving it. maybe I don't know the rules about using a system camera but it would not let me take close-up pictures! that's one thing I don't like about it.

it's hilarious when Top Gear meets F1! and I love it. it's nicer to watch. haha.
such a great series. you should watch even though you're not interested in cars, you've gots to watch if you want a laugh!

anyways, class started this week. I only have one subject this short semester - economics which I'm not good at, at all.

hopefully having studied it for a year in foundation would help me.

also gotten back my semester 2 results, and I must say I'm really very shocked because I thought I tanked my Business Management. I really did. sometimes I wonder how they mark, but every other time I'm just going to count my blessings and appreciate my results.
